"I got injured in tsunami. My mother and my elder brother were killed.I was displaced from Myilitty in 1990, and went to Nagar Kovil. Then went to Vanni through Kilali. I got injured on my spine,in an attack in 1995 while going to Vanni.I lived in vanni till 2002.My wife died of mouth cancer in Vanni. After the main Jaffna- Kandy A9 highway was opened,I came back to Point Pedro.But still I can't go back to my birth place and I want to die there. I have nobody to care for me" says 54 years old fisherman Kandasamy Sivalingam.
